Biomes RMS 7 - D. Rodriguez

RMy name is Daney Rodriguez, I am originally from Panama City. I moved to USA because my mom married my stepdad. At first I thought OMG!! i'm moving to USA and i don't even know how to speak english! what is wrong with my mom! =) lol.....but then i thought i wasn't that bad, it was cold in the winter but that didn't bother me cause that was the first time i ever saw snow but now that i am used to it, its sort of a pain in the butt! literally :). now I live with my mom Niza, my stepdad dad Dave, and my 2 brothers Daniel & Anthony. One thing about me is that I love sports, right now I joined the cheerleading squad, and Dance, I also like to run once in a while. Another thing would be that I love to listen to music like pop, rock, rap, and hip-hop. My favorite types of food would be chinese, hispanic, and sometimes mexican. I wouldn't say I'm a big fan of school but I do like some classes like art, choir, and science. I'm hoping that when I go to college I would graduate as a vet because i personally think animals are really AWSOME! and I would really love to help the injured ones, and I have a Golden Retriver named Thunder, and yes I came up with that name all by myself. also my favorite colors would be blue, purple, and yellow these colors really catch my attention.

I chose the angelfish to represent me because i love the color blue

I chose the leopard because there's a wild side of me :) since I get real competitive at sports and also I like jackets made of animal skin and leopard is the best for it

most taiga animals have thick fur that help them stay warm during the cold winter.
many taiga animals have big or long feet also known as "snowshoes" that help them travel through snow easier.
animals like the long-eared owl can adapt because of their great sense of hearing and smell.
many animals have the ability to see in the dark so this helps them hunt during night time.

many trees have needle-like leaves which shape loses less water and sheds snow more easily than broad leaves
needles are dark in color allowing more solar heat to be absorbed
many trees have branches that droop downward to help shed excess snow to keep the branches from breaking
many trees are evergreen so that plants can photosynthesize right away when temperatures rise

The taiga gets about 10-50 inches of precipitation in one year.
There's only about 100 days of summer and they only get as warm as 30 degrees F.
It precipitates so often that the grond is very soft and muddy
the climate is below freezing for 6 months or longer a year
